More Dam Trouble - Earl H. Smith
Smith's first book was a charmer, and his second is equally delightful. His characters, delivered with a light-hearted touch, could be your neighbors, friends, and enemies. In MORE DAM TROUBLE, he delivers a richly satisfying and entertaining story of small town Maine with all the atmosphere, secrets, rivalries, ambition and jealousy of the real thing.

Earl Smith's writing is a delight and so is this latest chapter in the life of Belfry Village, Maine. MORE DAM TROUBLE, a stand-alone sequel to THE DAM COMMITTEE, catches us up with a cast of characters (including a very wise dog named Winston) that is engaging and likable from the first page. Smith's affection for the place is palpable, as is his understanding of its people. I finished this small-town mystery and was already longing for number three. When you're away from Earl Smith's Belfry Village, you miss it terribly.

Author Earl Smith made it clear he knows his way around a
good yarn when he penned THE DAM COMMITTEE a year or so ago. Now he's back at
it with MORE DAM TROUBLE, a story that nails you at page one. Will Rafferty get
the best of Harry and Nibber and turn the town into a theme park? Not by a damn
sight ...
