Thomas Block (1951-2017) had his first one-man show at a gallery in Connecticut while he was still in high school. He went on to become an award-winning art teacher, named Art Educator of the Year by the Maine Art Education Association. After he retired from teaching, he continued to work in a variety of mediums — oils, watercolors, pastels, pen and ink, charcoal, egg tempura, sculpture and mixed media. As an illustrator, Tom collaborated with many book authors. This is Tom’s first solo book.
