                                    By Robert M. Sanford
                                     Illustrations by Rebecca Reinhart

This is a children’s book with appeal for all ages. The title is the invitation and each page is a response that rhymes with an animal somehow connected to Maine. The book is designed to work on multiple levels. The young (and all ages) can enjoy the play on words and alliteration. The older reader can appreciate the limited text that provides facts about each animal in the context of Maine. All ages can appreciate the alluring artwork that celebrates diversity and a fanciful approach to anthropomorphic animals and environmental awareness. The author and artist are neighbors in Little Falls, Cumberland County, Maine.
